Abdul_Latif
Horrid stuff. Would rather a cup of that watery instant chicken soup to warm up at half time in a winter game.

German Jag
Only at football (in Scotland) with a bit of pepper. At games here in Germany it‘s . Was in London in June 2016, visited the museum of advertising & packaging in Notting Hill.
Thane of Cawdor
Here's a picture of a 'Bovril Boat'. I hope it doesn't put anyone off that iconic and tasty beverage.

Paul Kersey
I love Bovril. I sometimes spread it onto toast. Lovely stuff. My only Bovril complaint is that I find the jars to be a really awkward shape. It's difficult to fit a knife or a teaspoon into the corners so there's always a small amount goes to waste. Dan Steele
Either at the football or a cold winter's night, sitting by the fire and looking through old fitba programmes.
Trackdaybob
I like a Bovril when I'm at the football. Don't drink it around the house as I could never seem to get it 'quite right'. To the point that I've actually gone and bought the same catering packs that they use at McDiarmid and The Walks. It's ace having one whilst sat in the van at a cold and wet Knockhill.

I took about a dozen home and had one a day until they were gone.

Same - I really like the powdered stuff from big catering packs, but that slimy variety in jars never seems to work out.

BFTD
Must admit I'm gaining more respect for Bovril after seeing those old adverts. Very reminiscent of Irn-Bru.

superwell87
Bovril is magic, however prefer the granules to the gloopy paste.. A dash of pepper mixed into makes it better. Enjoy it when at and away from football.
