I wasnt condoning anything. Anyone that throws bricks at vehicles is absolute moron who deserve a jail sentence. Just found it odd the buses went near white City from a driving perspective.

As for that comment about women, no need for it at all. Scum behaviour

Don’t think buses were anywhere near white city, they joined Whitletts Road in front of me just after Tesco lights

That's the way I thought they would go. The news site said white City and another poster wondered if it was an inaccuracy in the story. Sounds like.it was

When I left the ground the players were doing their warm down and I waited approx 15 minutes to get out the racecourse car park, no way they had time to go down white city and then join Whitletts Rd when they did with all that traffic about.

I'd parked on Somerset Road and went a wander around the block afterwards to clear my head! Got back to the car about 30 mins after full time and I saw the buses pick the players up. Really wish these local news sites would report accurately. Either way I hope the morons that did it are caught

Well that was an enjoyable evening. As I suspected, there was no silky football but I thought it was a good hard game with nothing between the teams in the first half. Second half TBH was pretty one sided apart from the opening five minutes when Ayr should have scored. God knows how things would have gone if they had, however from then on they just weren't in it, not sure if they sat back deliberately or were forced into it. I thought McKenzie was brilliant in the more central role I have been pushing for all season and couldn't believe the space Waters had in the second half. Also felt sorry for your striker who seemed to hold his own against our central two but had no back up whatsoever, why no support?

Some questions for the Ayr fans,- why no cover on the NT?

Secondly, and this is not fishing, how can you bear to stand for two hours every second week in the conditions you do? I know you can say you prefer to stand and can do so at away grounds if you want, but at least there you will have the chance of a seat for a wee while if you want. I stood for three hours last night and my old legs are grumbling today.

Onwards to the next derby then...................................how many sleeps?

Oh, by the way. Totally agree with the last poster,  scum behaviour and no excuses.

The north terrace is near perfect, what it and the rest of the ground really needs is a new terracing, the underfoot is just really old.  They also need some drainage up the back as water gathers.  A roof could be ok but only if it was modern and had no stantions otherwise you are making it worse for no reason.

Sitting at the football is totally mince and if you'd rather do that there is a stand with plenty empty seats right there.  Far bigger clubs than either of us have terracing.

I think if we ever went full all seater I'd call it a day.

I understand what you say about standing if that's what you're used to and what you want, but why on earth would you want to stand in the pissing rain with a gale blowing in your face?

There's usually 3/4 games a season it's too wet etc to stand on the terrace the rest of the time it's fine. Smashing in the sun tae.

I was up in the main stand last season, so undercover, got soaked whenever it rained and was freezing even when it was a warm nice day, garbage way to watch football.

To quote my favourite pantomime heroine, "Fairy Nuff". As I said it depends on what you're used to and what you prefer.

Don't think I've ever found it too wet. Usually just stick on the hill walking gear if it's really tipping it down. The view is so much better than from behind the goal.

Yes, that is exactly what I said.

Kilmarnock have a few decent posters on here, but seem to have a disproportionate amount of brain dead morons.

How anyone deserves to have their bus bricked is beyond me. Talk about brain dead morons......

I'm assuming there is some inaccuracy in the article as there is no way the killie buses should have been anywhere near the "white city area" . If a police escort took them that way someone needs to have a word with them.

Pathetic behaviour though. Probably makes our buses a target on the 2nd now

according to the daylate ranger the busses went a different route because the one of the busses was parked and had 2 players were on it at the ground and stones were thrown at it then, and the police changed the route to avoid a crowd of Ayr fans waiting for them on the usual route.

(you can chose to believe that rag or not):
https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/ayrshire/kilmarnock-boss-tommy-wright-slams-25333096

“It was the two buses stoned. We were stoned on the way in after the team got out of it.

“We had two players who weren’t stripped for the game and they were still on the bus.

“Then there was the incident after the game. We went a different route as the police told the driver they were waiting for us on our normal route."

What I dont understand about that is if the police knew the yobs were gathering why didn't they just wade in and disperse them before the buses passed, rather than reroute them through one of the swankier parts of the borough.

Yeh, probably all on double time but f**k actually doing their job, useless c***s!

Hardly surprising that the Little People lost yet another 'battle for Ayrshire supremacy', given that they're already placed on the mantelpiece of Auchinleck fucking Talbot.

Your team went 17 years before managing a victory against St Mirren.

We are hopeful that new clubs in Renfrewshire can become a better challenge than your pitiful club.

Forever in our shadow.
