ICTJohnboy
Kincaidston is apparently one of these really close knit communities. (Where they all hate each other's guts)
AUcal
I'm almost the other side of Ayr and heard the blast. Really really awful. Can only hope there wasn't people home but at 7 o'clock on a Monday night that doesn't seem likely.

RedEd
I live very close to the explosion, so forgive me if I don't laugh at some of the more flippant comments. Never heard a noise like it. The house shook.

Sounds grim.

Absolutely awful, never seen an emergency response anything like it.

Funky Nosejob
I can remember waking up around 5.30 in my house in Quarter in December 1999. There was an eerie silence that seemed unnatural. It wasn’t until I caught the news later in the morning that I learned about the gas explosion in Larkhall, several miles away. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/574946.stm
Lofarl
I’m convinced I heard the buncefield explosion in Livingston when I was out having my morning fag. Seeing as it was reported has being heard in Germany I might be right. It was a weird crump sound. Then again it could have been my fat neighbour turning in bed.
