I'm thinking of going to this if I can get over this cold/flu thing. I can taste the steak and black pudding pie already.

Update - Just bought my ticket and will be in attendance.

I just noticed there is segregation, what's that about? I like moving round.

Up their with Fir Park as my favourite away game of the season.

I heard rumour that the Bell Rock chippie is a shadow of its former self as under new management? Any truth in that you Lichties? May consider going off to the Marina for our pre-game fish tea if so.

Golden Haddock is my personal favourite.

All our league games are segregated this season, not sure who decides that. It isn't really necessary for every game it would've been ok today without it.

Always liked the changing ends and even mixing with away fans at Arbroath, a decent bunch of guys and always got good banter

Taken from the match preview, I knew our recent record was crap but didn't realise it was so bad.

Quote

Head to Head
Ayr United wins - 21; Draws - 16; Arbroath wins - 17

United are without a win in the last six games between the sides (two draws, four defeats).

Forgot about that, the game the stewards caused most bother.

The hard segregation for all games is a real pity. Understand when there’s a large travelling support but for games where there’s 300-400 or under I can’t see a problem. I’ve been going to Gayfield since the late 70s and, aside from a game v Aberdeen in the early 90s, I can’t ever recall any trouble in the ground. The only other time I remember anything was v Cowdenbeath in the early 80s when their fans were fighting amongst themselves.
