Slater MOTM for me. Munro had a very good game. baffles me how Scott shepherd gets 90 minutes nearly every single week. Really good showing from Strachan especially, Meechan solid but Slater best player on the park. Quite disappointed in Annan with a couple of squandered chances, with credit to our defence (for once) but Annan never really threatened. Munro rising above everybody to head in after a bad Lowdon foul on Thomson was good to see. Shepherd covers a lot of ground as most of the team do, but still a lot of wayward passes. Annan will be disappointed to not have an inevitable draw against the draw specialists but we were the deserved winners in the end. Munro and Strachan were brilliant in my opinion but Slater unsurprisingly won MOTM because he just keeps doing Craig Slater stuff! (Absolutely incredible signing for us, hopefully he'll stay injury free but with his record it's likely he'll have a spell on the physio's table at some point) All of the defence were string, I'd like to see Travis start next week in the cup and give him 90 minutes. We were OK certainly not as good as we could ( and have ) been but getting that second goal ( a really good move) really made the difference so that the last minutes weren’t the usual panic zone.
