Motherwell v Celtic

As pathetic a performance as you’ll ever see against the old firm. Understand what Alexander was trying to do but the players executed it terribly.

McGinley is not good enough for this level, numerous times you just want him to stick a foot in to get the ball and instead he stands back and watches the Celtic player take it, was the exact same against Airdrie.

The midfield was non-existent, Celtic really should’ve punished us more.

Liam Kelly, for me, topped his hearts performance. Firstly, his positioning for the first goal is terrible, he moves to his left and gives the boy an open goal. His distribution for the entire game was brutal to watch.

As for the penalty claim, it is 100% given up the other end. As clear and obvious as you’ll get.

Strike a mark through the game and go again, nothing to take from it.

Yeah I thought Kelly's positioning for the first was dire he basically showed jota were too put it

BTW that Celtic back line is hilariously awful.

Ralston, The double barrelled Vickers guy and the Starchild are horrendous. They strangle insist on knocking out from the back too.

This the back line that stopped the high flying well from registering a single shot on target?

Easy 3 points today don't think Motherwell had a shot on target,Turnbull's strike was Quality worth every penny.
Tony Watt diving all over the gaff, again the tackle on Turnbull was a lunge and out of control.
Great to see a foul for Motherwell before we scored the first, yes it hit Bolingoli's hand definitely a pen shout but Celtic where not losing that game today easily the better team won.

100% of our shots on target are goals. We don't bother unless it's a cert. One of the tenets of Alexanderball.

I used to be nervous at the start of Celtic games, hoping to get through the first 10 minutes.  No nerves today, the fear factor has gone, we are well capable of getting points from this team this season.

Still got beat today though.

Not sure where the red on Turnbull shouts are coming from.
Won the ball and ref didn't award a foul. Could argue it was a bit robust, but Ralston put Roberts out of the park with a similar challenge in first half. Again - Nothing given (except a shy)

There was to many nearly moments for us today and I felt Celtic’s defence looked so shaky at times. So it’s frustrating we didn’t test them more.

There was possibly a foul on Slattery for the first goal but Turnbull’s strike was a tremendous strike.

At least we didn’t get pumped. We could do with getting at least a point at Tannadice to stop the rot.
