Cowdenbeath -vs- Stenhousemuir

Recommended Posts

Just home. Sorry, it's a 2 1/2hr drive for me.
Stenny well worth their win.If they had played in the second half like they did in the first they would have scored five or six Thought 16 was outstanding.
Cowden were awful, no plan other than hoofball.
It'll take time to get over that.
Happy now?

Not enough tears for my liking but will do a suppose.

This is an encouraging result and one I hope we can build from, but I do worry about Robert Thomson's injury - you saw how well he played throughout the first half and what he brings to the team, and we simply do not have another forward who gives us the same athleticism and physicality. Let's hope the big man isn't out for too long!

A victory is a victory but let's not get carried away it was against a piss poor team.  If we win our next two games then the optimism may rise. If Thomson is long time injured then a quality replacement must be brought in asap.  Orr and  Tierney will not do

Deluded post alert.

win 3 in a row, pretty unlikely.

ASAP signing a quality replacement, ok then, it’s just a computer game anyway.

How's big Kyle Hutton doing these days? He left us after having his best season as a Dumbarton player and joined East Kilbride because "he wanted to be challenging for trophies" but seemed to jack that in for a move to Central Park quite quickly.

He always divided our fans a fair bit.

Was excellent at the start of the season, gone off the boil now. Subbed on Saturday.

Our best "footballer" by a country mile. Sometimes too one paced. I feel he gets frustrated with some of the players in front or alongside as they are limited and sometimes not on his wavelength. His workrate off the ball is questionable.

Got subbed Sat and for sure wasnt happy..

good signing nonetheless. The proverbial player willing to take the ball off others and dictate however you need others to have movement and ability and we lack that sadly thus he can get caught on the ball a lot.

Would like to see more from him in terms of an OOMPH or play as though he has another gear..

He doesn’t have more oomph.

His athletic ability is frighteningly poor for a player who was at Rangers.
Competent on the ball and needs good movement and players around him, which there’s nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, he’s got Kyle Miller and Robbie Buchanan  so he’s always going to struggle.

Re-signing both of them was a big mistake from Bollan, can maybe carry 1 of them but not both

Press him and he's as much use as a chocolate fireman.
