A bit sloppy there. You forgot about Strathspey Thistle who play in Granton on Spey.

williemillersmoustache
Very much torn between not wanting the planet I live on to be uninhabitable for humans and very much wanting this green washing exercise for BawJaws to be a disaster while knowing they'll blame Nicola if it is.

Nothing wrong with looking after the planet but pointless taking us all back to preindustrial times and we’re living in caves especially as the UK contributes less than1% of the worlds pollution. We should be ensuring our energy supplies by restarting fracking and exploiting all the oil discoveries, building more nuclear and gas power stations and, yes, cleaner coal. Wind is too risky to rely on but great for an add-on source to the base provision. -

If you watch 'Grand Designs' on C4, then frequently you see houses that are so energy efficient that they need hardly any additional heating to keep warm. Whilst this type of house would not be practical for most, there must be more we can do to move all houses further towards that ideal situation than what we currently have. We shouldn't just be looking at how we produce or get more energy to burn, we need to also invest the same effort into using the existing energy more efficiently, especially given the UK's reliance on imported energy.

What you are saying makes sense for new properties but I’m not so sure about older houses?
