In the league, September 2019, Jordan Jones v Celtic.

Against a non-OF side in the league?

May 2019, Allan McGregor in the 90th minute v Hibs.

😂

Celtic haven't had a home red card, in the league, against anyone but Rangers since January 2016.

Lets not pretend you lot are hard done by.

Two cheeks of the same arse.

I think it's pretty telling also that both of these were verging on assault.

Thank you Portyous, those 3 points are appreciated.  All that effort from your team wasted because you think you're a hard man.

Some excellent comments on here, absolutely delicious.

Celtic's last red card at home in the league: 2nd of January 2016. Five years ago!

Probably the last time Scott Brown was booked for Celtic too.

Just now, Empty It said:

No bias for the bigot twins though.

As I said, playing them in Glasgow is almost pointless, as referees let them play by different rules.

Its honestly mind bending that both these clubs have fanbases convinced the refs are out to get them, they literally get every advantage going.

‘Winning the ball’ is fairly irrelevant as to whether or not it should’ve been a red card. Big ‘Porto’ has gone in recklessly, in a fashion that could have endangered Aribo, which is fairly typical of the big dunce. Was there any need to fly in as shown in the below image? Look how high is foot is, if he’d caught Aribo it could’ve been a serious injury. Hopefully ‘Porto’ can use his suspension to reflect internally on why he’s such a thug.

I have been out. Just back and seen the red card.

That's a dreadful decision in one of our matches 2 weeks on the trot (pen for us last week as well).

You really do have to wonder how these officials can get it so badly wrong? I don't want VAR, just vague competence from officials....

A bog-standard piece of thuggish cowardice from Porteous. Honestly baffling why Hibs fans can’t see him for the useless embarrassment to his side that he is. A genuinely pish footballer.

The Porteous red is in the "seen then given" category, and to be honest it's not such a bad decision that you can say it's completely unreasonable - he's high, and he is coming in at speed. Having said that, in truth it's probably just a yellow at least 50% of the time and it's the sort of decision referees are desperate to give against one of them so from that point of view, it was pretty daft from Porteous.

I think we all know what the outcome would have been had it been the other way.

Traditionally, selective still images are the best way to determine these things.
