Always think that folk who make these pictures of famous celebrities with Rangers and Celtic strips on should have their hard drives searched as a matter of urgency.

Very true. Although it does sometimes throw up some quite humourous, and very embarrassing 'dinghies' from the stars, like this one by Tina Turner for example:

Turner’s publicist said she was aware of how her song was being used. "The song was written specially for her and her long-standing partner of 15 years," he said. "It is a song about their love for each other, not about a bunch of idiots who want to boast about how good they are at killing innocent people.

"These fools have grabbed it and are abusing it in a way she finds utterly abhorrent. She can’t stop them, though. If she wanted she could hire 18 lawyers and demand a Performing Rights Society fee every time they play her voice.

"But as for their use of the song’s title, there is, unfortunately, nothing she can do. Rangers Football Club are also using it and there’s nothing we can do about that either. It’s a lovely song, when it’s played in the way it was written — and to turn it into a parody of hate is ridiculous."

We need a bit more context there

Rangers are thrown in at the end . Who are they talking about beforehand ?

UDA. There was also another article from around 2010, that I can’t find anymore. Rangers supporters tried to get STB to number one, and got in touch with Turner about it. She told them to ram it, and that she didn’t want associated with their pish.

Ok, how about one from: small time, unambitious, aimless, feckless. You haven't won a league championship since the mid 80's, now you just spend your time ranting about Sevco.

We haven't been liquidated either

Yes, glorious being champions. Maybe you will get to experience that again one day *pats head*

Probably not, but then normal people don't define their own lives by the succes of the football team they support. That's for social rejects. Nae luck.

Googling a few phrases brings up an article from the Irish Echo, an Irish American website which also does some fundraising (obviously good for causes).

Tina Turner and her publicist in the IRA? This is huge. 😳

To be fair this update on Tina subbing a Facebook group of our fans in 2010 may cause some sleeping issues going forward

genuinely not sure how I will ever recover from this blow

Probably the best way, is just to not take it personally. The writer of a song, that the football team you decided to support, adopted as their anthem, disliking your chosen team, is not really a personal matter.

Its funny though. A bit embarrassing for all involved, too.

Poor show from  the arbitration panel.

Porteous challenge is certainly robust but it is perfectly fair. Clearly a pro-OF bias in the refusal to overturn the red card.

Straight leg, studs up, over the ball. Unnecessarily reckless and dangerous. Red card all day, every day.

But still wid

I mean I was perfectly aware that was a photoshop

Did not expect it to be overturned as we already know the game is totally bent up here.  Walsh is a village referee and weaker than a can of diet sprite.  Makes his decisions depending on the noise from Sevco fans, coaches and players so ignores their infringements and hammers opposition, has done so on every occasion he's refereed his part-time employers. Beware any club going there when this clown is in charge.
