This is throwing stones from an enormous smashed up greenhouse given Morton's laughable online system, but did Ayr borrow their setup from the clowns at Ryanair? Requiring a new account registration with password, plus a marketing menu, plus a 'donation to Ayr United' (minter) menu is overkill. Just get to the fucking payment window. 

As for our prehistoric tussle in the dugout, my main concern is that Duffy respects the value of set-pieces, while we have been leaking ridiculously cheap goals from all kinds of them this season, and then complain about not getting the result that we 'deserve' from a tight game. Duffyball could easily bag two or three soft as shite goals from us unless they get their finger out.

On the other hand, I've also seen Duffy being outwitted by McPherson so badly that he ended up playing a 'narrow' 3-5-2 at Hampden when 2-0 down to somehow chase the game, so there's a chance that he'll end up in a similar predicament today.

Problem with having it at a lower price is you are indirectly encouraging people not to turn up. Why go and pay a fiver extra to go when you can sit in the house etc.

Surely that only applies if the stream is a decent quality though, ours is rancid and gives you a headache - plus you don’t get a real idea what is going on.

Now that the grounds are open again, the streams should be marketed as a separate product altogether, aimed mainly at out-of-towners/expats (and a back-up for season-ticket holders who can’t always make it).

At £18 a throw for a poor service, you’re as well not bothering.

Wonder if someone like @Finlay21 could come in later and confirm exactly how many single-purchase customers Ayr actually get today?

3-5-2 with Allan and McGregor as wing backs, I'd guess? That's bold, but provided Lyon is properly in central midfield as opposed to just off the front two leaving Jacobs and Oksanen outnumbered I'm alright with that, risky as it is.

This is an appalling excuse for football. Would be no surprise to see 1-0 either way with a goal from nowhere, more likely Ayr as we remain a riot defending set pieces, but neither of these teams actually have an attacking gameplan to speak of. It's entirely pass/slowly float the ball into the opposition half and hope for the best.

Pretty dire second half although we did have a fair bit of the ball with no real idea of what to do with it.

We’re going to struggle if O’Connor is out for a few weeks as we really don’t have any other creative sparks besides Bradley who isn’t to be relied upon right now.

Bit fortunate not to lose that game in the second half, although Ayr were pretty brutal too.

We are something else though. There's just no plan for what we want to do with the ball in the opposition's half. Our wing-backs need to provide the width but McPherson just picks two random jobbers out of a tombola to play there every week. 

There are enough effective players in that squad to cause teams problems but he has no idea how to put them on the park together.

The second half really showed the absolute shitshow Hopkin has made of his recruitment in an attacking sense. 
 

We need to decide what we are doing managerial wise so we can get in the players we need, there’s been enough fucking around.

Using my advanced google skills it apparently takes 12 to 16 weeks to completely recover from a dislocated shoulder and should lay off sports involving shoulder movements for between 6 weeks and 3 months so he'll prob miss a fair few weeks regardless.
