Played some decent stuff at times but offered very little up front. Can't make mistakes like that against top sides but we did and we were punished. Priority is the league and it seems to me that was Davie's thinking tonight. We looked set up for damage limitation. Positives were Bailey, Devlin, Holt and especially Omeonga who looks like he'll be massive for us this season, very impressed with him.

I've always liked Holt and he had a good first half.  Omeonga was the best player on the pitch in the first 45 but faded badly.

Some of these livi players are needing a hard boot up the arse,Martindale is far to cautious in his approach especially for a cup tie,he just can't see when players are  playing shite,The whole midfield sitting in front of the defence again,some players are doing basically nothing,Montano looked knackered after 3 minutes,Baily is very lazy,Shinnie looked weak and slow, but still played him upfront by himself,with no midfielders willing to run,if the midfield are not going to get up the park, they're all needing binned.

SHOTS ON TARGET  = 0
SHOTS            = 0
Corners          = 0

Stryjek  4/10  Done ok except for the mistake for goal.

Devlin  6/10    Put in a good shift defending
Obileye 5/10    To laid back tonight.
Fizzywater 5/10  Tried hard enough,mistakes starting  to appear again.
Penrice   5/10   Done ok, at least tried
Bailey   2/10  Playing out on wing,very lazy,invisible,no desire
Omeonga  6/10  Best midfielder,but 2 sloppy moments that caused a goal
Holt     3/10  Nowhere near Sundays performance,spent whole game trying to defend.
Lewis    2/10  Done nothing ,no forward runs,just nothing
Montaño  0/10  This guy was rubbish, couldn't run,couldn't tackle
Shinnie  2/10  Absolutely hopeless,weak,slow,but not his fault blame Martindale

McMillan  2/10  Let Hagi walk into the box without a tackle ,hop
Forrest   2/10  Done nothing couldn't  get on the ball
Anderson  2/10  Did he get a touch....

Martindale tactics are becoming unbearable,that win over Celtic save him forever

That's a lot of typing for a small amount of attention.

Controlled the match, just missed that cutting edge again in the first half but a much improved second half with Hagi being the catalyst.

I found it interesting looking over at Gerrard right after we opened the scoring gesturing to Hagi to calm down a bit or something. Not sure if he felt he was trying too hard or what but it was at a stage where we had Livi on the ropes mainly due to his movement and directness.

Lundstram has again shown some signs of improvement and found himself quite comfortable in the second half spreading the ball out to the full backs, although that could be to do with Livi’s lack of pressure.

Patterson again looked decent and I thought he dealt with his defensive duties tonight better than he has done in the past. Hard to tell without a replay if he should’ve scored but on first viewing I think he could’ve lifted the ball over the keeper. Looked like he went off with a knock - hopefully not a recurrence of his previous injury and it was just precautionary.

Credit to Livi for having the best away strip I’ve seen at Ibrox this season: that’s about their lot in terms of positives.

What a nothing second half performance. Take the gate share and move on.

Pretty much yep, decent first half with several good attacks that just missed the touch to get through on goal, but second half was a non event after Hagi cut us open. Max has built enough good will with brilliant performances to overlook his suicide pass to fat boy for their 2nd, totla brain fart moment after Fitzwater got away with something similar a few minutes earlier.

That's it for us this season in the cup then, best of luck to the diddy teams still left in the semi's.

He's got no credibility (if he ever had some) after hiding when we beat Celtic, got no balls to come on when he's proven wrong, then has the brass neck to turn up spouting his toxic pish again after we lose a game to Scotland's Champions at Ibrox, total arsehole.

Bet you weren't saying that after the first half.

Was going well first half with us creating a few chances in and around your box, getting set pieces to put the ball in too, but once you scored we had no plan B, and meekly went out the cup, same as against St Johnstone when we lost the final. Would've liked to have seen us bringing on Anderson to play off Shinnie when it was 1-0, and having a go. 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 wouldn't have made much difference, we'd still be out. Positives were but for Max kicking it to Morelos inside the box, it would've ended up 1-0, but he did, and we lost 2-0, which morale wise shouldn't be too hard to lift the player for the game against Hearts on Sat, which is perhaps why Martindale didn't want to risk going for it.

Dear knows how we even got to the quarters after the way we played in the group stages, qualifying as one of the best 2nd placed teams on the final game, so on that score everything after the group stages was a bonus, just a pity we got Sevco away, might've had a decent chance at the TMA, but we made some decent dosh out of it.
