St Mirren v Aberdeen

It’s not used for a simple head injury, the player has to be suffering concussion. St Mirren abused the law.

I don't know if anyone else at the game clocked this but the lead up to Brophy being subbed was:

1. Dennis sent out to warm up

2. Ball goes out of play for an attacking set-piece (corner?) for us

3. Jim calls Joe S over for a word

4. Joe S arrives in penalty box, cups his hands round Brophy's ear and says something to him

5. Ball goes out of play and Brophy goes down rubbing his head

6. Joe S shouts "Willie, Willie" to the ref and points to Brophy on the ground

Don't know the ins and outs of this new rule but it did look a bit dodgy to me!

Nah, nothing to see here.

I thought he was really passive and left Erhahon and McGrath to do most of the defensive work, and his passing was hopeless again.

What? Power far superior in every area to Ethan which is probably why he was the one subbed off

Blame your donkey of a defender for his assault on Brophy a few minutes earlier.

Clearest booking of the day, yet Collum didn't even have a word with him.

By the way, Aberdeen are shite. Long may it last.:)

Bates clobbered Brophy from behind , it was a sore one one but Brophy didn't want to come off. As it was a head knock the medical staff continued to monitor Brophy and it was decided to go on again and have another look. The doctor did whatever tests he had to and decided there was a chance he was concussed. He told the ref of his concerns and the substitution was permitted. Simple and safe practice really !

We are shite. Absolutely

But we were comfortably the better team & heading for 3 points until Collum sent our boy off. Wrongly (the first yellow was a joke, no complaints with the 2nd).

Your first goal wasn’t a free kick and your second goal should have been ruled out after a shove in the box.
Also you should have had at least two players sent off, perhaps three.
Collum helped Aberdeen out today.

Hayes being sent off 15 seconds before the end would have made a huge difference to the game.
