D Angelo Barksdale
That ship sailed long ago. We should have invested in high tech temporary stands that could be erected anywhere. Playing Italy and setting the stands up on some godforsaken stretch of links in the northeast in midwinter. Ronaldo and Portugal humbled after having to change in portakabins and dodge dogshit and broken glass on some public park in Coatbridge in front of 40,000. Real Madrid going mental because Luka Modric is out for 3 weeks with red blaes in his knee.
Jimi Shandrix
Surely you meant demolish Hampden Park? Murrayfield isn't great but it is preferable to that shitole. -

HuttonDressedAsLahm
In a perfect world we’d have a 30,000 seater stadium in Stirling, and a 60,000 seater in Perth. Approximately the middle of Scotland. Alas, we don’t, and the SFA own Hampden. Any proposal that doesn’t involve games continuing at Hampden for the foreseeable is quite simply a waste of energy. -

craigkillie
Why would it be a good idea to have our stadiums nowhere near where most people live?
Busta Nut
Glasgow has it's faults but it's by far the best city in Scotland. If I want to go to Stirling or Perthshire it's to see the sights and walk a hill. Not to go to the fitba on an overpriced Scotrail train. (I feel for those of you who do have to use their service long distance)

This is island erasure. Perth is nowhere near the middle of scotland If you count Rockall the middle of Scotland is around Lewis and Harris

Stirling and Perth. I can see the tourists choking to visit there ahead of Edinburgh or Glasgow. And it’s easy as f**k to get to both from abroad for fans. Just fly right into Perth international right?
