I wouldn't actually - the experiences vs Copenhagen, Madrid, Dnipro, Bayern beat Hampden any day - especially when it's empty.

Maybe if I had seen no major honours in my lifetime, I'd feel differently - but was fortunate to witness many in my younger years.

I wouldn’t swap our trophies for a draw with Bayern Munich.

I was genuinely surprised when I found out  recently that Aberdeen have only won one trophy ( The league Cup) in the past thirty years....Stevie may has won three times as many in the past seven with Saints..

Sheep fans are very salty wrt the three-times trophy winner.  I listened to Sportsound on Sat and, after the game, the usually amiable Dick Gordon said something like, "So Stevie May scores the winner at Pittodrie.  Not something you often heard when he played for Aberdeen..."

I don’t think many Dons fans have a problem with Stevie May. It didn’t work out for him when he was with us but he gave his all on the pitch and it was obvious that his injuries had affected him. I think most of our fans would wish him well, apart from against us obviously.

You can hardly say that Gordon’s comments weren’t accurate.

He doesn’t let accuracy get in the way of a half arsed dig.

I doubt if there's a Dons fan that has a really bad word to say about Stevie May.

He came to Pittodrie after a terrible injury, tried really hard, but it didn't work out for him.

Like these Fermers, you seem to be constantly imagining something that isn't there.

P.S. You can't come on this thread without stepping back in time and mentioning 3 trophies. Please find some way of fitting that in, cheers.

Edit : Oops, you did. Well done.

May, like all of the saintees forwards, is pretty poor. He does try, but that should be a given when you aren’t very good.
St Johnstone are built on a solid base, and it’s usually a good 1 at that. The have the mentality that McInnes had, don’t lose the first goal . There’s nothing wrong with that, plenty teams in this league have that game plan.
At least they have a strategy, I can’t see any from the Dons at the moment. They don’t play it tight, don’t press hard from the front, don’t  attack with any pace or creativity, no wee moves from the striker coach trying something different, even at set pieces, it’s not a big strong physical team that aerially bombard. Just a team who like to keep the ball in the middle at a casual tempo. Rudderless.
