starryfish
Both teams come in to the match in poor runs of form, Aberdeen with no wins in six and Saints one win in ten. The pressure will mount on Stephen Glass if his side fail to win against a Saints side who, despite having a cracking season last year, the Dons managed to win three and draw the other of the four matches the teams played. Aberdeen have had the vast majority of the possession (75%) in their last two Premiership matches without ever looking like they knew what to do with the ball whilst one clean sheet in twelve matches this season also tells a story. Similarly, Saints have had just the two clean sheets in their ten matches. I'd expect a tight contest with perhaps the odd goal winning it for either side.

Guest Bob Mahelp
Motherwell one week, the Fermers the next. We must truly have offended God in a previous life.
RandomGuy.
Be interesting to see if the sluggish nature of these games was down to McInnes or not, tbh, the early games in his spell were usually pretty open from memory, but he slowly seemed to decide he needed to stop us rather than beat us. Feel like Aberdeen will be more open against us than any game in years, which could work out well. Suspect we'll see Bryson or Davidson in for Crawford, with Wotherspoon going back to the left of midfield/attack, and maybe Ambrose in for Brown or Muller. Would like a change up front too but suspect Kane/MOH have the managers trust so will start.

big al
Hopefully keep the score down to a respectable mauling against the most successful team in Scotland in the last 10 years (or whatever it is).

Trackdaybob
I'm being positive. Not sure why......... We'll win 0-2 Don't ask, I've no idea where 2 goals and a clean sheet will come from.
nelsjfc
Is there a link for ppv for this or am I too early?Real choices suddenly in the forward areas with MOH doing well recently, Middleton back available, Vertainen getting up to speed alongside Wotherspoon and Crawford. Expect it will be Kane through the middle in a three.Hopefully Bryson and/or Davidson are ready for this to give a bit more energy. Think the back 5 were good enough against Rangers have earned another outing this week. Imagine we'll see some rotation on Wednesday.

Zamora Fan
Reckon the 5-2-3 our best bet here, Glass seems like a manager who will give us room to hit on the break. Especially with restless locals. Clark Brown Muller McCart Rooney Devine Redacted redactedMOH Kane EetuNot really sure who we have available for the midfield 2. Like@nelsjfc I think Bryson and Davidson would be the ideal pairing for this game for Davidson’s energy and Bryson’s ability to pass a football but unclear if either of them will be available. Reckon Craig might start regardless. If neither of those two can go with him Wotherspoon (who I don’t think has done enough so far this season to start wide left over Eetu) can come in and play there again.MOH has to start, first time in years he’s started a season in a bit of good form and like last week I think Aberdeen will give him plenty of space to run into.

I'm pretty sure that if you asked any football fan in Scotland that doesn't have a combine harvester, 6 toes or rides his sister, St Johnstone would be in the top one of turgid, boring as f**k, soul destroying matches. Obviously it's all to do with the opposition, not St Johnsone.

If you're a soft as shite outfit who think they can dominate the game and cruise it *glances at Hibs* then we'll suffocate the game in our half and pick you off at will on the counter. If you do what Motherwell did at Fir Park last season, and try and play some expansive football from the back while being wide open and not having the players for it, we'll pile bodies forward and press you to death. Suspect Aberdeen fit both categories under Glass, so you'll probably get treated to both sides of us.
