The best derby in Scotland - United v Dundee Sunday 19 September 2021

Recommended Posts

This idea that you must have gritty players in a derby (Butcher, McGowan) to succeed is utter pish. Levitt was clearly the superior option to Butcher, and it proved on the pitch in the 2nd half. Thought Pawlett looked very good today, certainly the best performance I've seen from him in some time.
For us, Marshall was clearly our MotM, and until the goal which he should've done a lot better on Legzdins looked to be having a solid game, but that matters not a bit now. Once the dust had settled, it's fucking baffling that we're starting Griffiths over Cummings right now. Completely lost without Charlie, our midfield were thoroughly outplayed on the day, and the subs McPake were strange at best and just shite at worst. This loss is purely Dundee's fault rather than United being clearly superior.

The biggest shock is that butcher is captain. Sets the worst example to the whole team. Levitt looked tidy as f**k

We were infinitely better when we had 3 (almost) footballers in midfield. Butcher was like a man down in the first half, his attempts at being a hatchet man almost inspired your midfield.

Hard to agree but hard to disagree as well. Really not much between them, Dundee with the better chances at the start and the United with the better chances later on in the game and goal aside.

Neither team done anything amazing or anything particular badly.

Not the Peh Classico more the Meh Classico

another game when we have the better chances slips thru our fingers...that game was a fucking awful watch with little or no football played...we really cant keep missing those glorious chances we get and expect to get something from games.

rangers next 1-0 the dees with a 89mins back to the wall performance with rangers having about 80 shots to our 1.

Scotland win Friday.

Bairns team comes back from 3 nil down to win 9-4 yesterday

Derby win for the men, 3-1 against QP for the women.

Just a Scotland win on Tuesday to make it 5/5 for the AK household.

Hope your bairns team gets pumped next week
