Anthony Fitzgerald
Falkirk come into this game wondering what would have happened if we’d signed Greig Spence and/or Liam Buchanan, but will have to do with Michael Ruth on loan from Aberdeen. The Wasps surely wondering if they’d have been better keeping Buchanan over signing Sammon. How has Durnan been for you so far? In ex Alloa news Hetherington, our captain, getting mixed reviews so far. In terms of team news, Brad McKay only played 45 minutes so not sure he’s ready for a game of this magnitude so reckon the team will be. Not sure about Morrison’s fitness either. How will Back Pass Barry set his team up for Saturday?

falkirkthebigclub
Alloa haven't been great and need a big result to kick start their season, I expect them to have a go at us. This probably suits us as Keena in particular seems to be more effective on the counter attack. His legendary skills of holding up and link-up play with his back to goal, as celebrated on the FFC thread, aren't particularly dangerous when we face eight defenders at home but the occasional deft finish, like Airdrie away, really compensates for a lack of pelanty-box threat. scottsdad
This is the one match I look forward to more than any other - a Falkirk fan who grew up in Alloa. I expect Falkirk to win but it will not be easy.

NavyBlueArmy1876
Assuming this game will come just too soon for Williamson, other than that with everyone available I'd go with: Mutch Miller McKay Dixon McCann Krasniqi Telfer Morrison Nesbitt McGuffie Keena Subs: Martin, Hall, Lemon, Hetherington, Ross, Ompreon, Ruth Hopefully Ruth will keep Wilson out the squad for the rest of the season and we never have to see him attempt to play football for us ever again
Chinatoon Bairn
£18 for the privilege to enter this dump. Daylight robbery. Fingers crossed we're back to winning ways this weekend.

FFC 1876
No Scottish league game below the Premiership should be above a tenner for an adult to get in. We're £18 PATG as well i'm sure so that's not just a dig at Alloa more Scottish football on a whole.
NavyBlueArmy1876
£18 is shocking considering the state of the place. The football ground is pretty run down as well At least it's PATG

laughing gravie
OMG, our visitors from across the river are moaning at the price of entry and the state of the ground and the stream being the same price as entry. Let me think, the ground is a dump, so just sit in your hovel, pay the streaming price and let the real supporters go and enjoy a game of football. PedroMoutinho
I actually hadn’t realised that Alloa were charging £18 for PPV- that has to be the most expensive yet. I won’t be paying it and I suspect many others won’t either.

Would expect Stevie to do well in a balanced midfield- as the anchor doing the ground work for the more creative midfielders. Covering full backs, putting out fires etc. Expect lots of bookings though.
Bairnardo
Alloa to receive the somewhat insignificant honour of my daughters first ever game of football and hopefully the start of a long and successful new era of Bairnardo/Bairnardinha bonding. Please keep the agricultural language to a minimum.
