That back 3 formation still looks pretty vulnerable but once we got seriously stuck into them we barely looked back.

The back 3 works best for us as we have something almost unique in the Tierney Robertson partnership where either can attack being supported by the other.  The problem today was that Tierney was accompanied by a novice and a midfielder/sweeper when we really need two solid centre halfs alongside him.

Overall we had by far the best play and chances and deserved to win though.

Yeah we really improved in the 2nd half, and did what we should and could have done the whole game.

Clarke needs to let these players off the leash. We played really well in the 2nd half. But really got lucky after being so negative in the first.

He went with as an attacking team today as I can remember him ever playing. We had a very early set back and came from behind twice to win.
Clearly Clarke said something right at half time also. Stop being a vindictive weirdo please.

Fucking sublime.

In an attacking sense, that second half was us playing at something close to our full potential. Dykes causing havoc, holding it up, winning free kicks and just generally being a nightmare to play against, our ball players like McTominay and Gilmour getting it down and dictating play, Robertson doing what he does for Liverpool, with that wee bit of blood and thunder added in with help from the crowd. Sensational stuff.

Gilmour, Tierney, Robertson and McGinn were all sensational tonight.

And a shout too for Dykes and Patterson, who despite having both had awkward moments stuck at it and contributed to digging out an important result.

Well done to the players and the management for a massive result!!!

Team deserves a lot of credit for that result. Twice we went behind, also missed a penalty and they still had the character to dig out a win. Brilliant stuff.

Can't remember us ever coming back from being behind twice

And winning

Robertson definitely stepped forward a lot more than usual, contributed to our attacking play rather than playing the safer back pass as he has done a lot with Scotland. That's what got us upfield a lot in the second half.

Much more confidence in the players around him than before.
