AyrshireTon
What was with the cheering for an announcement that a gate had been opened? Never heard a gate being celebrated at a game before.
vikingTON
Certainly an improvement on our last league showing and I don't think a draw would have been a travesty based on the balance of chances created. Reilly looked lively with the limited service he had and we should get stronger once our signings all get up to speed. Once McLean gets put on the bench then we might not give the ball away every five seconds for a start. McPherson helped to cost us the game though by his 'wait and see' approach to using substitutes, when we had players on bookings and plenty of options to choose from to freshen things up before the goal. That Muirhead continues to get 90 minutes on the park is also inexplicable. McPherson needs to get our best players on the pitch soon because our next three games (Raith, Ayr, Arbroath) are going to define our campaign. We could get 6/7 points from them or none at all. The goal was one of the few moments of quality that Kilmarnock produced in the game; they were surprisingly average across the board yesterday. They'll rightfully happy to pick up a win while not playing well, but there are stronger teams than ourselves who will use a similar gameplan and would have picked up a point or the win on yesterday's showing.
ki11ie
First 20minutes we started well, then dragged down to there level, which has happened a few times, we need to stop letting teams do this to us. a very poor performance overall but a crucial 3 points, 2 very tough games coming up now. got to remember we have signed a full new squad, and then have shaw, Robinson and burke to get fit and in the team. I’m convinced once we settle down and the team clicks we will do fine this season, 4 wins for 5 games and only 1 conceded I’d of bitten your hand off for before the season started -

There’s 2 exits from that stand but they close the Chadwick end off when there’s big away supports or when it suits them.
