2426255 Posted August 31, 2021 Share Posted August 31, 2021 I think we have a very good chance of qualifying for World Cup 2022 via the playoffs if we don't lose in Austria and hopefully beat Moldova. The Denmark game I think we can afford to lose. We could still be in a good position with anything between 3 and 5 points from this round of games depending on other results. The playoffs will be difficult if we make them. QOSfan019 Posted August 31, 2021 Author Share Posted August 31, 2021 (edited) Tomorrow Scotland play Denmark in a world cup qualifier in Denmark before this game Scotland sit second 1pt ahead of Austria but could slip to third with a lose (which looks likely) should we lose Austria will over take us by 2 points in second. We need to hope that Austria lose away to Israel on Saturday and we beat Moldova should that happen we would over take Austria by 1 point in second going into the final game of this triple header away to Austria. should everything said previous happen we would go into this game 1 point ahead of Austria to cement second place we would need to win but should we draw we would be 2 points ahead in second going into the October break.
