Rumours of both Doyle-Hayes and Magennis having covid and out for Sunday. Would be a disaster if true.

Hibs have pretty much avoided covid issues for an entire season and 2 crucial midfield players contract it 2 days before an away derby image.png.ae50f96ece511d8b92bb19b48e050f77.png

I just read elsewhere -

JDH and Magennis missed training today due to slight niggles, but the hope is they’ll be fit for Sunday… it’s touch and go.

Nothing to do with Covid.

HIbs away end holds 4000 no? And we get 8 turnstiles and it's always an utter shambles as well with hundreds missing KO, yet Hibs fans seem to love to go on about Tynie like it's unique. Your queuing system at the last one was laughable.  But if you're that bothered, you could always get there earlier like.

Wait until they hear about their category A walk-up prices for this season.

Turnstiles open at 10:30, kickoff is at 12:00, meaning that there are 90*60 = 5400 seconds in the time window.

3500 fans / 6 turnstiles = 583 ⅓ fans per turnstile

5400 seconds / 583 ⅓  ~= 9.25.

Each punter has on average 9.25 seconds to get their card scanned if they want to get in before the game starts. I suspect that's doable, but if one of the machines goes on the blink or something then it's a big problem - on top of there being a lot more fans showing up shortly before 12 than shortly after 10:30, because it's only a select few that want to sit for an hour and a half in an empty football stadium on a Sunday morning.

Fucking hell this might be the most tinpot post of the thread. This thread.

Cut from club email tonight -

TEAM NEWS

Jack Ross revealed that Martin will be fully fit for this weekend’s Edinburgh Derby.

The Australian winger went away for the September international break and came off with a minor knock against China after scoring, which caused some concern for fans. He subsequently missed the Socceroos next game against Vietnam before returning back to HTC and went straight back into training.

“We knew why Martin came off for Australia and that he wouldn’t play in the second game purely for precaution," said Ross. “We’ve got a good relationship with the Australian National Team and I think they’ve been sensible with him. There was never any concerns."

Captain Paul Hanlon returns to the squad after suffering concussion against Ross County last month. Joe Newell is also available for selection after recovering from an abdominal injury picked up against Kilmarnock. Chris Cadden could also make his first appearance of the season after returning to training following both back and thigh injuries.

And Nathan Wood is also in contention for a debut after joining us on a season-long loan from Middlesbrough. The 19-year-old centre-back captained England Under-20s during the international break.

Long layoff for Hanlons concussion.

To be fair, he was probably as confused as the rest of us because everything coming out of (third placed) Hearts in the last week has referred to them as being "at the top of the league".

Eh? It's the best stadium in the world with an atmosphere second to none.

I was talking about smashing up the surrounding area.  Especially the high school.

Most world class stadiums are in the middle of she most poverty stricken areas of the city.

Smashing educational facilities for the poor and yet no fan of fat tory b*****ds.   A dichotomy to ponder.
