All of a sudden our squad looks like it has a bit depth and it's exciting to have going into this game. Hibs are flying as well, but I definitely think we can get change out that defence, they've been honking against cross balls all season. Can't wait for this, just a shame it's 2 weeks away. Joe Savage reckons we are close to Barrie McKay wonder if we get him ahead of this game,Old fashioned Derby with an ultra modern Hearts team.G0 Jambos

Even your point about home derbies is a weak one given how shite Hibs' home derby record is compared to Hearts'. Anyway, The Relegation Derby must surely go down as one of the greatest acts of hubris in human history. Always nice to see it mentioned. Always worth remembering how excited Hibs fans were at that season. It was meant to be some kind of turning of the derby tables. In reality, we beat you four times out of five. Bless. Having realised that the home derby record reference is a bit of an own goal, you've now moved on to criticising the coach that most Hearts fans criticise every day? Good news is you've got a week to work up some better material.

The first Derby that year, apparently the first one in history with a level playing field and no financial doping, was fun as well. I've never seen a support so angry.

The last people to complain about having historically not been able to play on level playing field should be the regulars at Easter road it wasn’t even a metaphor there
Dons_1988
Can I say as a neutral, the ‘relegation derby’ followed by hibs relegation was absolutely hilarious. A definite low point in hibs history.
