Ro Sham Bo
Couldn't see a thread for this year's competition anywhere. A couple of big wins tonight as Arsenal put 6 past WBA u23s and Southampton put 8 past Newport. Hat-tricks for Aubameyang and ex Celtic loanee Elyanoussi in those two matches.
Melanius Mullarkay
Just saw the goals from the Newport Soton game. 6 of the 8 goals conceded by the goalie at his near post. Absolute minter goalie.
Theroadlesstravelled
You don’t see many cup shocks anymore. The Barclays teams just hand out some real scuddings to the lower league shite now.
bluearmyfaction
It's the omega point. The gap is now unbridgeable. Next phase is to drive EFL clubs out of business to remove the risk of relegation.

Ron Aldo
Thank f**k someone finally knocked Man City out.Wouldn't be shocked if West Ham went on to win it. Moyes is doing a great job there.
Bishop Briggs
Anyone interested in the Arsenal-Sunderland game tonight? Chambers and Maitland-Niles can't make the bench. Howe-away the lads? Only Newcastle would be daft enough to sign that pair of dumplings. -

If she goes to her bed I'll watch it, but I'm not getting up and walking 5 yards to the other room. Newcastle are daft enough to sign anyone though, imagine that pair on Newcastle wages.
Jambomo
I remember when Sunderland used to be half decent as well. They just never seem to have been able to recover and get back up to PL level.
Bishop Briggs
Arsenal's Patino looks to be a good prospect. 1 hour ago, Jambomo said: I remember when Sunderland used to be half decent as well. He's out of contract at the of the season and could be a bargain signing for another club. His Sky interview was very professional. Good luck to him.
Derry Alli
On 17/07/2021 at 15:30, Bishop Briggs said: Arsenal have gone mad. They lost a fortune last season and were supposedly strapped for cash. With the loanees returning, the first team squad now has around 30 players. Arteta needs to get rid of the dross asap to fund new signings - Soares, Kolasinac, Saliba, Mavropanos, Torreira, Guendouzi, Maitland-Niles and Nketiah for starters. 1 hour ago, Bishop Briggs said: Arsenal's Patino looks to be a good prospect. Nketiah did look good but he has had a few chances and never looked quite good enough in the Premier League so far. Still I wouldn't say he had a proper run so yeah, I think Arteta either needs to give him a run of a few games or let him be sold. Jambomo
Spurs v West Ham has been a great game so far. We should really get Ashby a first team cap before he becomes English.
Jim McLean's Ghost
Diop looking very poor for both Spurs goals. First one, stupid to go for the ball like that but can't even be arsed getting back in quickly to fix the mistake. Second one he does nothing to stop the ball coming across.
