Monkey Tennis
People who post the exact same things they've seen others post dozens of times before, absolutely merit waterboarding. An ironic "but we just don't know" on the Coronavirus thread is the poster boy of the genre.
Shandon Par
Afghan/COVID type threads where folks have clearly been googling the f**k out of a subject then trying to pass it off as stuff they knew.

Mix that in with the results of the 'Dunning-Kruger thread' in which 85% of posters rate themselves as 'above average' when it comes to intelligence , i.e. a third of this site think they're smarter than they are.

See also: People getting their arses handed to them, having a meltdown, then jumping on the "Heads Gone" thread to claim it's the other posters who are losing it. Anyway, my "Worst type of posts" might be more suited for the unpopular opinions thread because I suspect I'm going to get pelters for it but... I find the whole "American people pronounce certain words differently from Scots people - they're IDIOTS!" patter to be coma-inducing. Seriously, of all the things Americans deserve criticism for, this is what gets so many people riled up?" News flash: Pretty much everybody in the English speaking world pronounces words differently, even people within Scotland. It's not that big a deal.

That's the lower-bound estimate. It's probably closer to 50%. You're assuming the 15% who rate themselves 'below average' are actually right, and you really can't take their word for it - they are stupider than the average P&B poster, after all..

Even worse when they suggest bringing back a previous manager who is in his eighties or at death's door. Or maybe bringing him back to assist the new manager.
