The Official 'Who's Going Down' Thread

Recommended Posts

I can't remember a window with so many team's fans being raging all at the same time. St Mirren and St Johnstone fans utterly raging, Livi fans raging, I'm sure there's more but wow it's a bit of a shocker from a few clubs tonight :D

Dundee signing Griffiths is enough in itself, if he can avoid doing anything daft, to keep them up. Charlie Adam seems a bit of an idiot, but he'll set up enough chances for a natural predator (no pun intended) like Griffiths to score a good amount.

I'd never have thought of Motherwell as likely to go down, nor Saints Johnstone or Mirren - can't see past  Livi and Ross Country for the bottom two.

Bump.

Reckon you can add St Johnstone to the mix now.

A man after my own heart. It’s 1 from 7 now. Could be literally anyone of us. I feel we have a bit of resilience these days and Leigh the Dee should make all the difference. My preference would 1) St Johnstone 2) The Dabs - the rest I wouldn’t actually wish it on.

All jokes aside, St Johnnies will be fine I reckon.

They will. As will St Mirren.  County and Dundee are in all sorts of bother, and Livingston might make it a three way battle for the bottom two.

In what way are we in all sorts of bother?

We've got a poor back line, but within our team we have a solid goalkeeper, one of the most creative players in the league and a strike force that is better than most. Griffiths and Cummings up front pretty much guarantees goals. Just based on their goalscoring records alone, not sure which teams strike forces I'd swap them for bar the OF.

We've also made a decent start to the season with last Saturday being the only truly disappointing result and it was against a team that aren't really being spoken about as being in a relegation battle (although the way they've been playing, they maybe should be.)

Unless something goes disastrously wrong, such as Charlie Adam being out for longer than the 6 week period he is out for (which is an absolutely massive blow in itself, admittedly) then I'm expecting us to be around 8th come season end! But, think we, along with 6 other teams can easily go down.

Least we don't have the pathetic Ross Laidlaw in goal tbf.
