And I really don't want to as we will be shite and get beat. Hursty Posted September 2, 2021 Share Posted September 2, 2021 At the end of the day, folk can slate Ayr Utd as a club for this all they want, but they have clearly asked the manager what date he preferred to ensure the best possible chance of 6 points from the 2 vital games. And he has quite rightly chosen the date that he thinks is best to get the results, as that is his job. Would be a bold call for the Chairman to over rule the manager and force it to be a different day. I’m sure this is what happened, but at the same time surely someone is wondering what the people that the club is actually about think.... It's quite hard to describe the mood: we've only played two league games and in one of those it saw an utterly freak collapse after tanking a team who had been recently relegated.
