The closest I think I've come to knowing one of these incel laddies was the creepy younger brother of one of the wife's friends. He slimed all over most of the wife's pals, but obviously had a thing for one in particular, and asked her to shag him as an eighteenth birthday present. That went over about as well as you'd imagine, and he apparently had a wee temper tantrum about it. No idea what he's doing now, but it's probably as well for him that these incel forums weren't around back then.

I think we've all known (or been) someone who was utterly hopeless with women, but I'd suggest that their success tends to improve massively upon realising that getting their hole isn't the most important thing in the world.

There’s a guy I work with that would quite often brag about his various sexual conquests prior to joining our employer. Remember a couple of times when I was visiting rather obscure locations (Carrickfergus in NI and the Isle of Coll) and, no word of a lie, said that he had an ex from both places (Carrickfergus incident was months before going to Coll, so more than likely he forgot about saying this).

He moved in with a fellow colleague who was looking for a flat mate, and he never once had a girl round or even mentioned going out on a date in the year or so they lived together.

To my utter amazement, a girl in the Customer Service dept I know had asked me in passing if he was single, to which I obviously confirmed. She said she would try and have a wee chat with him at the night out that was happening in a weeks’ time if he was there, so I let him know, as naturally I assumed he would be delighted, and if he wasn’t going, to get involved. She is a nice girl, bit dense but really friendly and quite attractive.

He got the biggest case of fanny fright I have ever seen. I was sat at the table opposite them that night and even now, four years or so later, my toes have still not fully recovered from the cringe. He actually asked if I would join them on a date, as he wasn’t sure what he was going to say/do.

I do wonder if an attractive girl was to make the first move and basically offer themselves to these Incels, what their percentage rate of getting pumped would be?

It seems like a lot of them are surprisingly picky and are only interested in women who look like strippers and porn stars.

Personality doesn't appear to come in to it, nor making an emotional connection with another person - some just want their hole with a very niche physical type, and are absolutely seething that women aren't sex dispensers. You can feel for the guys who are just lonely and depressed, but there are a fair number of proper psychopaths among them.
