Purple vs Blue: ok
Maroon vs Blue: not ok

To confuse you further Dundee wore white at Tynecastle last season while hearts wore sky blue at Dens to avoid clashing with the dark blue of our hosts.

So

blue vs blue: maybe ok

The type of game that Scott Brown was made for. Absolutely strolled it from start to finish, and had the added satisfaction of winding up that erse Neilson at the end of the game.
That aside, both teams were OK in spells without ever having a cutting edge. Over the piece, Aberdeen were probably the better, more cohesive sidedue to the efforts of Brown, JET...who gave whoever was marking him a pretty torrid time....and superb (once again) Calvin Ramsey.
Nathan Patterson got a full Scotland call up for being half as good and half as strong, yet Ramsey is being left out of the U-21 side. No wonder Scottish football is screwed up.

At least the confusion over why Walker hasn’t been getting a game is resolved

Why is that? Walker was fine when he came on IMO.

Not special, but not on the level of being called out when we lacked in an attacking sense full stop.

It’s a bizarre coincidence that people would “lie” about it simultaneously on an anonymous football forum & Twitter

The correct response is “wow that’s really scummy if true, most Hearts fans would condemn in the strongest terms”

Then we all move on with our lives

OF-esque squirming here

It's 'bizarre' that a Twitter lie would be picked up on an internet football forum? Are you for real?

I've been to hundreds of Hearts matches. I know dozens of Hearts supporters. I'm in various Whatsapp groups with Hearts supporters I know well and barely know at all.

There are plenty of topics I could almost believe a story about Hearts fans being offensive about. Yet not once in my life have I heard any Hearts fans singing about the Piper Alpha disaster. I've never heard anybody joke about it in a pub or on a supporters' bus. I've never seen it mentioned in a Whatsapp group. When I used to use Twitter I never even saw it referenced on there. I haven't actually heard the PA disaster referenced anywhere for ages. A lot of young people will barely know what it is.

What has quite clearly happened here is that some lad on Twitter doesn't like Hearts and has had a think about what offensive thing he could accuse Hearts fans of and this is what he's come up with. Other people see it on Twitter and go along with it. You want to believe it because you don't like Hearts.

Hearts fans are not angels, but this is just laughable nonsense. You're asking us to believe in some hidden chant that Hearts supporters with decades of matches in them have never heard of and that I've not seen referenced from any credible source and that never seems to have been issue at any Hearts - Aberdeen game in the last 33 years.

It's not OF-level to defend this. It's OF level to make it up and want it to be true. Get a grip of yourself.

I mind when JJ took over as Hertz manager the first time - he said he was changing from a back three to a back four 'to get an extra body up the park'.

Cannae help but notice that we started yesterday's home game with only three attacking players on the park.

I'm not moaning about the formation as such, maybe more about the players deployed -we can claim that the wing-backs are expected to get forward and join in, but Smith is very much a defender, and no-one really knows what Halliday is - even Halliday doesn't really know what he is.

Haring came to us as a centre-half, and Beni is very much a defensive mid.

Which leaves us with Gino, Boyce and GMS to create and score.

I think it was a better day for Aberdeen than Hearts. It was pretty even up until the penalty but after that i thought Aberdeen looked the better team and a point was the minimum  they deserved..

Not to worried about Hearts but we need more consistent creative players.

Admittedly by that stage GMS, Ginnely  and Boyce were beginning to tire and Aberdeen are quite good so it  wasn't going to be an easy  job  for Walker but  from where I was (section B) he seemed to be having a bad day especially by the  standards we know  he's capable of when he's fit and on form

We never tried to bring him, or McEneff into the game IMO. Just long balls up to Boyce and hope they can pick up the scraps.

Thats definitely one perspective, but from where I was sitting, it was the hideous mutant Brown that was wound up. His team mates having to pull him aside and attempt to calm him down.

One big plus for us today is how good Souttar was again. 40-50 yard passes to feet, strolled it defensively. Hope to f**k he holds up fitness wise.

Souttars passing was VERY good. give me him over plug Porteous any day of the week

Beningime also very handy, although I thought we were the better team over the course. JET plays like that every week and hes still at Arsenal, unfortunately we just cant rely on him. great to watch though. Souttar and halkett marshalled Ramirez very well, hell get more change out the lesser teams. Alternatively, we could sign another attacker to play alongside him. his touch is still really good and was involved in the goal. Chuffed for Campbell. was handed a tricky hand and he played really well.

Were you escorted out for running on the pitch again?!
