Falkirk vs Goodwillie

Strangest was the one in 04/05 with the Clyde players celebrating a nil nil draw at TFS which basically confirmed us as champions. Could never understand that one.

Was that the midweek game where we were behind the goal in the tent? Think Gary Bollan hit the bar. Must have been about 12 then.

Usual inconsistent refereeing. Last week hetherington was booked for pulling his man back today nowt for the guy that blatantly pulls back nesbitt.

We've looked very good apart from that howler from the 'keeper 🙈

Need to create more clear cut chances though.  Not worked Mitchell enough . Not easy when they've got a packed defence but need to try and open then up more.

We've passed the ball about nicely enough but it's too slow and hopeful so far. Interesting to see the switch to a 442 for the last 10 minutes with Morrison up front with Keena.
Couple of decent chances but Mutch trying to skin Goodwillie was probably the closest.

Give them their due, they're trying really hard. After the first ten minutes there's not been much for Mitchell to worry about.

I don't expect us to dominate possession but we are just giving it away constantly. Easy five yard passes as well.

We’ve obviously dominated without creating anything really clear cut. Clyde certainly living up to their ‘Goodwillie and 10 other c***s’ moniker. They’ve been stinking but the onus is on us to break them down which we’ve not done a great job at so far.

Hall and Miller having so much of the ball is not good for us considering neither can pass the fucking ball. Aside from that and a dodgy touch from Mutch it’s been comfortable.

We started well the first 15 minutes and thought Seb Ross shouldve scored but decent save from Mitchell. Then we seemed to loose our tempo for 20 minutes or so and everything was going too slow and wasn’t until we changed to the 4-4-2 and put Morrison through the middle that we started to look threatening again. Nesbitt has got that jobber right back on toast though terrible decision not to book him when he pulled Nesbitt back and I’d imagine that was why Sheerin was so angry with the ref coming off at half time.

We need to keep being patient and keep the tempo up and we should be fine IMO.
