It's like they're on a permanent (violent, armed, theocratic) stag do.

Seems like a coordinated effort to show they're normal whacky guys and not monsters. It would save a lot of time if they just let girls go to school and women go to work unaccompanied by a relative and wearing a tent.

I prefer their other current PR stunt where they have guys wearing helmets and sand coloured body armour etc strapped with spec ops gear. Pure stealing that horrible operator culture off the Americans. They'll be drinking that coffee those Trump supporting former SEALs sell soon

So it’s allowed on a social media site with greater reach than both Reddit and TikTok? Okaaaay

I'm not sure that's true.

Twitter is the most mature social media and is full of people with fixed outlooks. TikTok is for weans and Reddit is for morons who love being part of an in group and seek approval from random strangers (we have some of that here as well obviously). Both of those groups are extremely impressionable so more effort will be made to control the content they see.

Pen Farthing has been correcting the record on twitter saying the whistle blower "lied to parliament" and that no British troops was used to escort him and his animals into the airport, this of course appears to contradict the mail on Sunday and the Civil Service claims he was assisted by soldiers. Maybe it's all a massive ego thing.

The whistleblower suggests people died as a result of his posturing taking resource away from processing vulnerable people when animal rights groups were unlikely to be hung by the government of Afghanistan.
