Raith Rovers vs Dunfermline Athletic

Recommended Posts

The lights went out in the Cowshed at a midweek cup game against St Mirren years ago. The fuse box actually blew above the fence where the coins and spittle were normally flying.

All that happened was the usual "Way-hey" noise from the fans.

The game continued regardless (sadly).

I think the way Gordon Brown’s police escort was parked in front of the south stand was a bit of a health and safety risk too! Talk about causing a bottleneck!

Absolutely.
If there are specific security issues that his team have, the club need to discuss how they can accommodate this in a way that won’t impact on safety / access for others.

I think stevoraith can’t cook.

Surprisingly accurate.
Although I can manage a bacon roll.

So it's childish to have a bacon roll at the weekend? What the f**k in going on here?

Yeah…. Kind of comes across like that’s what I meant, but I really didn’t mean it like that.
I refuse to comment any further on breakfast choices as my initial (tongue in cheek) post was that someone commenting 3 or 4 times to say someone else’s breakfast was a weird choice was a bit OTT and I’m in danger of reaching the same total on the same subject.

Think it’s fairly simple. If the club has ballsed up in any way - too many plugs in one socket, trying to operate a football stadium using dial-up internet - then we should rightly be hammered. Financially, not a forfeited match.

But if it all stemmed from something outwith our control such as an external power surge/outage then we move on as it’s one of those things.

There’s clearly plenty of lessons to learn though. Looked like we’d forgotten how to stage a big match after 18 months.

On the small bit of football,  we went 3-4-3 again with Graham playing so clearly still something wrong with Grants eyes.

However it was a lot better than it has been,  felt we had the better of the game. Midfield was far more balanced.

Jones looks ok, and vytas looked the rock we all expect.

Only 10 minutes and it did involve some moments of where grantball could have cost us but I’m very slightly more optimistic now.

What did the Pars review boy say? He seems to have deleted it, so I can only assume it was outrageously embarrassing.

It was only a minute or so long clip, but it was a guy, probably in his late 50s, seemingly a bit under the influence.
Started off with something along the lines of “no WiFi, no electricity, hundreds of people navigating their way home along dark streets- Kabul, Afghanistan? No. Kirkcaldy”.
He then went on to describe RRFC as a shambles of an organisation.

Not surprised he took it down after he woke up this morning and remembered what he’d posted last night.

Vytas simply has to play. He is no-nonsense, good in the air and isn’t afraid to go through attackers. Poor to see Graham starting again, however. He looked dodgy even only during a 15 minute game.
