Raith is quite a modern town. They will fix this soon.
Ayr can’t fix their toilet problems so it does show the gap between rich and poor.

They said on TV some of the street lights outside went out too. It may not be the clubs fault.

There is/was a local power cut by the sounds of it. I don't understand how folk can seriously blame the Club for that.

Shades of 2013 when Uncle Roy's floodlights failed and the Highland Derby was kyboshed.

He blamed the DNO (that's the electricity supply company) but I have it on good authority that his super duper new lights were commissioned on a "homer".

With new electrical installations there needs to be a grading study and that simply means that if there is a fault in the ground, the local protection should operate before any of the apparatus outside.

Sounds to me like such a study will be reactively considered.

Bill Clark has basically just given a mea culpa on the radio, but there were streetlights down as far as Morrisons, so either it was a wider issue or the Rovers have managed to f**k half the energy supply in the town.

Street lights come on around 2030. Clarke is trying to deflect any blame

So what happens now? Is it a replay or do The wee team forfeit the match?

Dot net mentality 🥴🙄

Only power outage was within the stadium

Where have you popped up from?

This isn’t true. Power in Pratt street down apparently. Floodlights on because they have their own generator.
But with no stadium lights or cctv etc police wouldn’t let game continue.
