I think they got Gretna & Edinburgh Uni mixed up. As they would have been on 9 pts back then and have now shot well and truly out of VoL's sights on 12 pts.

Ruthrieston
Post from the Vale Facebook page, good crowd expected Information……Saturday coming (6th), The BBC will be attending Victoria park to film our match vs East Stirlingshire, kick off 3pm. Chris Marshall and his team from the football programme “A View from the Terrace” are going to be recording and then screening on there weekly show a lengthy piece about the Vale-Match highlights, background staff and fans interviews will all be included on the show. The club are going through change on the park (credit to Grant and his team) and with so much positivity from the last 2 weeks games alone ,are looking to continue going in the right direction and would therefore appreciate any support that any of this group can offer-particularly on match days. Changes are occurring off the park as well, including fresh faces joining the committee and maintenance improvements around Victoria park which will hopefully support the community and club going forward. On behalf of the club may I thank everyone who has been supporting and supportive, especially over the last fortnight and we look forward to seeing you perhaps on Saturday or in future match days. Finally, if anyone would like to be considered for an interview at Saturdays match then please call/message myself and I’ll acknowledge, then can give you a heads up on what sort of questions you may be asked from the BBC team….
HibeeJibee
Bo'ness United 0-1 Vale of Leithen Vale's first competitive win in 102 weeks: with 12 games left they now stand only 4pts behind Gretna (really 5pts as GD is 59 goals worse). Were they to survive it would unquestionably be among the most ridiculous, yet undoubtedly also among the most astonishing, outcomes in the whole history of football at this level IMO.

From what I seen today, and what I seen of Gretna a couple months back, that VOL side are now streets ahead of Gretna. -

Le Tout P'ti FC
BBC table is showing Edinburgh University v Gretna today as a draw. That's an error.
FairWeatherFan
The BBC scores are notoriously bad for LL scores. It's no surprise they've got it wrong.

craigkillie
If they're genuinely better than another team or two in the league it's not an issue, since some other pile of nonsense will get relegated instead. The issue was them dodging a deserved relegation two years running.
