It was mooted before the game but thought with it being a draw he'd be ok for another week. Someone must be lined up anyway.
mizfit
Wilder now confirmed. Anyone else think Norwich were in talks with him before Boro?

I doubt it, to be honest - Wilder doesn't seem like a Webber type of appointment. I think Wilder is a decent fit for Middlesbrough for where they are at the moment and where they presumably want to go.

Clockwork
Working down south for a couple of days this week....Derby County docked another 9 points, rooted to the bottom of the table on -3 points. Wayne Rodney’s side looking a cert for relegation to the 1st Division. It doesn’t seem so long ago that they were chasing the riches of the Premiership in the play off final. What a mess. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59288687In other midlands news in the English Championship both Steve Cooper at Nottingham Forest and Michael O’Neill at Stoke City reportedly tracking Jambos and Scotland CB John Souttar for a bid in the January Window.

Just been stretchered off after 6 or 7 minutes of treatment. Replaced by Kamberi who has pitched up on loan at Wednesday this season. Paterson is a interesting one he is on 12 grand and can't get a game free to talk to clubs in December 1st still 27 you would think that he could join another championship mob might be a good fit for Preston with McAvoy

Jacksgranda
I'm enjoying Fulham v Sheffield United United scored after 2 minutes and hung on for all 3 points. For all their possession Fulham didn't create a lot although they hit thebar in the dying minutes. Open and enjoyable game, free of "divers" and dissent.
