Clockwork
Congratulations Nottingham Forest, what an incredible turn around this season, (the play off final itself, perhaps one to forget though). Huddersfield should certainly have been awarded at least one penalty, but were very poor otherwise, given what was at stake, they just didn’t turn up.

resk
Christ. I'm fed up with these c***s already. Who's cheated them? They were shite for years, that's why they weren't in the Barclays.
Ivo den Bieman
The English season is almost as long as the Tayside Juniors (aka Midland League) now. I think Solihull Moors v Grimsby Town, for a place in next term's EFL, is the final game of the season next Sunday at West Ham's ground. A day after Tayport play East Craigie in one of those endless cup finals that prolong the non league season up here.
RawB93
Two things of note: That mash up of Just Can't Get Enough and Freed from Desire at the end was absolutely awful. There will be a boy from Kirriemuir strutting his stuff in the EPL next season.

Jacksgranda
Huddersfield fans - or, more accurately, a Huddersfield fan - was on the HYS on the BBC site giving it big licks a couple of weeks ago about Huddersfield replacing Leeds in the top flight...

Wile E Coyote
Forest will do worse next season than Norwich did this season. Absolute whipping boys

The second one, the attacker deliberately put his leg in front of the Forest player. Right decision in both cases IMO.I thought that with the first one initially. Mainly because it looked dramatic and I was looking at his leg/shin where there wasn't any contact. But if you watch it back he clearly clips his foot. Obviously the VAR was watching the same thing I was the first time as well...

jamamafegan
Hate this patter so much. There are other teams who haven’t played in the top flight for longer, Carlisle and Leyton Orient to name a couple. That doesn’t matter though because that was before 1992 so therefore doesn’t count.
Bully Wee Villa
You tempted me into checking this out. Not counting teams that have ceased to exist, the longest absence from the top flight is Glossop North End, who played in the old First Division for one solitary season, 1899/1900. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossop_North_End_A.F.C.

craigkillie
The Huddersfield player asks the ref to get Samba to take the shortest route off the pitch, and the ref says no. There is no obligation for a player to take the shortest route off the pitch. The ref can ask them to do so if he wants, but he doesn't have to. In this case, if they thought a player was injured then they'd make them take as short a walk as possible rather than getting off the pitch and then having to go round. Players and fans who get bothered by this stuff are the sort of small time losers who landed us with VAR.
Clockwork
Think they will do better than Norwich as they'll spend some money. Norwich come up and immediately sell all their best players. They’ll certainly get hustled for inflated fees to keep the loan players who have helped them win promotion. With all that filthy lucre at their disposal, the selling clubs/agents will be all over them like a cheap suit. Welcome to the Barclays Premier League.
Brummie Clyde
Nearly all clubs have loan players they want to keep when they come up. We ended up buying Mings and El Ghazi on permanent deals and would have signed Tammy Abraham, but he wanted to go elsewhere. Does feel like you spend a load just to keep still. Bleeding fortune to improve your side.
