Well these are interesting figures for me in the above tables:- Clubs with less than 100 fans from their 17 home game,

Broomhill 11 games                     Stirling Uni                 8                  Gala           3                 Gers B             1

CSS.           10 games                     Vale of Leithen        7                   EK               1

Edin Uni.      9 games                    Cumbernauld          7.                  ES.              1

Imho these figures may give an indication to the way these clubs voted in the 2 recent proposals. Even looking at the total number of fans over the season give a similar indication. Give yourselves a shake all the diddy clubs and the LL.

Remind us again why you big club never stepped forward 10 8 6 or even 4 years ago to join the LL when there was no need for a licence. until floodlights were required.

10 years ago is easy as the Lowland didn't exist.

4 years ago the Lowland was at 16 teams so wasn't open to applications anymore. Remember those days 😂 Bonnyrigg at the time just had their EoSFL application accepted as one of the original 13 to apply by the March 31st deadline.

The lowland league first started with only 10 teams.then put out applications for 2 more to go to 12 teams.then again to 14 teams and 4 years ago went to 16 teams as specified by the sfa. no junior clubs at these times applied.at the last intake there was only 2 eos clubs who applied hra. css. the braves won promotion from the sos. just find a bit disrespectful to these clubs who joined the LL when the chances were there for all to take to start calling them diddy clubs.most have spent massive amounts of money improving their grounds and paying there way each to game home and away to call them that.

Forgot to add the lowland league was formed june 2013.yes with no relegation or promotion the no relegation was to keep space for other clubs wishing to join from other leagues and association's.think to this date kelty were the first to take a chance.

There was the small matter of junior clubs other than Lithgae Rose and Girvan not being able to get licensed without first joining the EoS or SoS when the progression clause got tacked onto the entry level requirements. The process was set up in a way that was likely to secure that outcome in other words.

If Bo'ness, Bonnyrigg and Kelty had all joined the EoS at the same time and needed to use the playoffs to work their way into the LL one at a time, there was a very real risk of being stuck in with the likes of Eyemouth and Ormiston for three seasons. Not so easy to sell that idea at a club AGM when the older generation was still very emotionally attached to the junior grade.

If the LL were serious about encouraging junior clubs to move across they would have had a process similar to what unfolded when the WoS was formed that would find a place for as many clubs as applied and find a way to allow them to reach their natural level ASAP with conferences and plenty of pro/rel in subsequent seasons.

Instead the mentality has been doing the bare minimum to pay lip service to the pyramid concept and a self-preservation society approach by the founding clique where pro/rel is concerned.

Really well put together answer. slightly flawed.in the beginning there was no need to join the eos all you had to do was apply to the lowland league, the only stipulation for juniors clubs would have been resign from the sjfa then apply to the LL simple. remember you didnt need to be licenced just give a commitment to working towards it.that hesitation has now shot them in the foot. all the sjfa would say is our members are not INTERESTED!!

The lowland league first started with only 10 teams.

Initial interest from everywhere. Turned into 27 notes of interest, 17 applications, and 12 teams to start not 10.

And we all know why individual clubs in the Juniors were scared off. The SFA were limiting the Lowland League to 10-16 teams, with no consideration of what went below.

That wasn't an issue for EoSFL and SoSFL teams. They knew that the EoSFL and SoSFL were on board to signing up for the pyramid. Especially The Spartans and Stirling Uni who never even bothered resigning from the EoSFL. Allowing them to place their 2nd XIs in the EoS Premier to the chagrin of some of the EoSFL members left behind.

Individual Junior teams were left with unanswerable questions as the SJFA were collectively sitting outside the pyramid.

Every single year that the Lowland League was open to application there were more applicants than those accepted. Over time some of those would get in but not everybody. The clubs that made it into the Lowland League don't require some sort of special status as they weren't the only willing pioneers.

Again a very well put analogy.

When the lowland league was open to applications, any junior teams who were brave enough to apply would have walked straight in even 1 or 4 teams the lowland league would have given them priority over any other (fact) which was said to me 4 weeks ago by the then league chairman there was no west of league then but any of these clubs would then have to choose sos or eos if ever relegation happened ( dont think it would)also there would be another 2 ex junior clubs in the with the recent changes, the rose and kelty.

am not looking for a argument as i said just pretty disrespectful calling the clubs who were brave at the time to take their chance. as some of them didn't have a first team they only had under 21s and lower. just trying to point out that the bcs.c colts. the unis css all to the chance when it was there,

Morning, here is the updated table for attendances. Sadly incomplete with 1 missing and although i have called this an update rather than complete i don't think we are going to get the number for that game.

Would like to thank those on here who have sent in crowds to aid with this and can promise you i have done everything in my power to ensure that we got to this stage despite it being incomplete.

This table includes the following stats.

The complete league table

The home attendances - Total - games and average

The away attendances - Total - games and average

The cup games are the next section

and finally the totals.

Please remember there are still 2 Bonnyrigg, 1 East Kilbride, 1 Bo'ness United and 1 Gala Fairydean Rovers matches to go to complete this table.

Once again sadly we have no Fraserburgh v Bonnyrigg Rose number but hopeful of getting it....

Again thank you to the clubs supporters and guys on here for your help
