Easily the most random use of this season's attendances. How does the most recent New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Korakuen Hall show compare to Berwick Rangers LL crowds 🤣

It was a shame the games against the Shire and the BUs were both on a Tuesday night. A Saturday game would have seen a larger away support for both.

Now there's a cross-over between two of my niche interests I never thought I'd see.

For a bit of context, NJPW's attendances are notably low atm - Korakuen Hall can seat in the low 4 figures iirc - due to various elements including the pandemic and poor booking over the last 2 years.

557 against Vale of Leithen on a Tuesday night isn't too bad! Not the goal fest many would have ben expecting. Only 2-0 with 70+ played.

Aye, the goal fest was a couple of miles west of Bonnyrigg...

Hiya Welfare, Hiya pals...

Here's one in case you can't get a figure from them.

68 of the people! How can we fast track them into the Championship? The Blue Pound must be rolling into the Lowland League right now.  Hopefully the Lowland League tell the chancers where to go in the summer. FYI “into the sea” is the correct destination for these abominations.

You realise that it's not a split gate so it doesn't really matter in terms of other LL club finances how many fans turn up to a Rangers B home game?

Yes the joke was aimed at their mighty travelling support too which they claimed would pack out stadiums. If they’re getting sub 100 fans for their “home games” in the first season they’re not going to be packing out anyone’s stadiums especially after the novelty wears off.

Why would anyone expect any sort of crowd when Rangers 1st team were playing at the same time! The graph above actually shows pretty decent crowds for Rangers B games

And the record attendance for a Lowland League game goes to...

Hardly a shock they've been allowed to move the game to Ibrox. Should be able to make back that £25k.

Already 2k tix sold. Would imagine it will be around 10k, perhaps more

Well it was EK's biggest attendance of the season by some distance today, probably only to be bettered by Bonnyrigg in April. This is one of the few positives of the B teams for the LL clubs.
