Ginaro
First Round Bellshill Athletic 3-3, 4-2p Bonnyton Thistle Campbeltown Pupils 1-4 Harmony Row Glenvale 2-5 Royal Albert Kilwinning Rangers 1-1, 4-5p St Cadoc's Port Glasgow 0-3 Neilston Rutherglen Glencairn 5-0 Finnart St Peter's 0-4 Drumchapel United Vale of Clyde 6-1 BSC Glasgow Will be an interesting draw for the the second round/QF to see whether the more fancied teams - Rutherglen, Drumchapel, Neilston, St Cadoc's - avoid each other. Presumably the games are scheduled for 23rd October? Edited September 26, 2021 by Ginaro

St Cadoc's and Drumchapel United are looking like they could at least replicate the kind of success Rossvale have had in becoming lower level Premier sides.

Presumably the games are scheduled for 23rd October? No, the draw for the quarter finals is likely to be made at the October General Meeting of the WoSFL clubs, but I don't expect the matches to be played until into the New Year as the South Challenge Cup and the WoSFL Cup are now coming into the fixtures schedule. The concentration is still on getting all leagues to the end of Phase 1.
Ginaro
To correct myself, Harmony Row were 4-1 winners at Campbeltown. 4 hours ago, glensmad said: No, the draw for the quarter finals is likely to be made at the October General Meeting of the WoSFL clubs, but I don't expect the matches to be played until into the New Year as the South Challenge Cup and the WoSFL Cup are now coming into the fixtures schedule. There's still going to be 25+ clubs in both Scottish and Junior Cup that weekend, so plenty won't be playing league games on that date anyway. Plus all but one of the clubs are from the Conferences, and they can't be that far away from finishing phase 1?
Ginaro
Draw will be made tomorrow night. Would be good if there was more made of the fact that this is for teams not in the Scottish/Junior cups, and that it is a qualifying route for next season - since most fans won't know what this new cup is all about. They playoff with the South's Alba Cup winners and the East's Alex Jack Cup winners for the Cup Winners Shield. I'm sure the NCL could have one of their cup competitions without SFA members to at least make a cleaner Semifinals/Final for the Shield rather than the 3 team round robin they now have.

Should just let all three through. Wont exactly cause a fixture pile up. The pyramid/Scottish Cup entry in general feels very "Let's just get a full season out of the way then look at it" feel in parts. Understandable with Covid and all the changes.

Ginaro
Bellshill 1-3 Drumchapel Neilston 1-1, 4-5p Glencairn St Cadoc's 4-3 Harmony Row Royal Albert v Vale of Clyde (12th February) Favourites are through to the semis, the draw will be massive as one of the four is clearly not at the same level as the others.
glensmad
I expect (but am not certain) that the draw will be made at the next WoSFL General Meeting of the clubs at the end of January. That would allow the cup to continue to run in parallel with the dates of the latter stages of the Scottish Junior Cup, which was always Kennie Young's plan.
