Only replace a proven keeper if you have a better replacement.  Not difficult is it.

Well they clearly thought they had.

For the 9th time, it's bizarre to criticise Celtic for not keeping Gordon. That was the right decision, the poor decision is who they replaced him with.

He was 37 and a liability in their team as he can't be relied on when the balls at his feet.

Would have still liked Harry Stone to be involved last season. Would have been the perfect time to establish him as the replacement for Gordon.

Watching that Rangers will walk the league again, the new Celtic manager will be hounded out pretty quickly.

By hoopy the huddle hound per chance.

The kid looks good, will get some decent game time on loan.

That is scary.

Basically, if you take Kent and Itten out, Rangers entire first team squad cost about the same as Ajeti and Barkas?

Wowsers.

Transfermkt says that Celtic paid €5 million to Rubin Kazan for Starfelt and a similar fee to  Vissel Kobe for Furuhashi too.

However, they apparently got €11.5 million for Frimpong and £13.5 million for Ajer.

Is Steve woods to blame for celtic GKs being so shit?

He's been more visible since they got rid of that Dutch keeper a while back.

It was tough for him. You couldn't see the Woods for De Vries.

I think you’ll see more protest against the board than the manager

Ange doesn’t stand a chance with the way things are run at the club right now

Spot on mate. The Scottish media have turned Ange into some sort of Messiah and I think he’ll see out the season even if Celtic are miles behind in 2nd.

It’s not like we’re blessed with lots of quality centre backs. I think if Souttar had played regularly for last few seasons he would be in the squad or at least in the conversation.

Barring injury, he'd have clocked up plenty caps.

Souttar>Porteous by a distance.

The last time he pulled on the dark blue he utterly embarrassed himself in one of the most shambolic Scotland performances of the last decade.
