Interesting to note that the Under 20 team have withdrawn from the Development League.

No information from the club on this and no players coming in when they are desperately needed.

What’s going on?

A disgrace that a club the size of Buffs with such a big boys club allowed their 20`s to fold. Strain was "coaching" their 03`s on Sunday, obviously no faith in the youngsters coming through

Good news. Hopefully everything is resolved and Carlo can help the team. He is much liked at the Buffs, after 5 years he's one of the senior players and, on his day still one of the best players at this level.

Good to hear that Monti is back playing with the buffs,it’s a pity that it had to come to him walking out to get it resolved, strange that no other team came in for him, maybe they couldn’t afford his wages

I'm not sure Carlo "walked out" as you suggest. There was an issue over an alleged signing on fee and my understanding is that he was actually suspended by the club. However great to see him back and hopefully a wee win v Ladeside tomorrow night.

Am not 2 sure what 2 make of all this monti stuff. The boy has talent and alot of teams wouod like him in there team but maybe his wage demand was 2 high or maybe he just wanted 2 stay at buffs. His spell at buffs has 2 be his longest at 1 club?

Mon the papers

5 years and more than happy for him to continue as still a matchwinnner and a joy to watch.

Are Friday night matches going to be a regular feature in the WOS league? This should hopefully draw a big crowd.

Clubs can ask for them and it can be arranged if both parties agree. With this being fairly local and a Scottish & SJC weekend, it certainly makes sense to try and maximise the casual interest

Final score tonight 2 0 to Buffs. Syme missed a pen first half, but goals from Monti and Millar gave Buffs victory. Great atmosphere in front of a decent crowd under the lights. Credit to the Kilbirnie fans too for getting right behind their team. Onwards and upwards COYB.

What a genuine, great, football atmosphere.

Credit to the Kilbirnie fans, half jumped the fence and some fireworks were let off but football without fans is nothing and they brought something I haven’t seen in a long time, hats off to them, we’ll pay the fines that will no doubt follow and move on.

Next season lads leave the fireworks at home, you don’t need them.

Again, credit to everybody involved at the Buffs for getting the club to this point. Great to see all of the sponsors turning up and enjoying themselves.

Kilbirnie fans helped generate a great atmosphere as they usually do, but no need for the pyrotechnics.

Can we have more games under the lights please?
