We're a final ball away from being a very good team. Pawlett looks like he's been actively told to forget trying to actually get on the ball and solely focus on tripping up in front of Aberdeen players to win some pity fouls. Butcher isn't managing to get involved with the game in between kicking people either. In fact, the amount of fouls we've conceded already is absurd, and the referee is not being harsh on us. Smith's most telling contribution came right after Aberdeen's goal. Got the ball in space in the Aberdeen half with plenty of bodies pushed up in support for a change. He took a couple of touches, panicked, got closed down and passed it back to Edwards. Aberdeen then comfortably pushed us back again.
