Whitehills Football Club

Club Update
It is with a heavy heart we announce that Whitehills FC will be taking a year in abeyance for the season 2022/2023. This has not been an easy decision and one we had hoped it would not come to but it is what we feel is best for the club and our current players at this time. This is definitely not goodbye as we will be working hard behind the scenes to prepare for a comeback next season.
Ross Gibb, with the support of Jamesy Mackintosh and Scott Robertson, has been working hard behind the scenes night and day trying to recruit players to strengthen our squad further.  Unfortunately we have just run out of time and do not feel it is fair with the potential we have in our current players to even begin competing in the new league reconstruction without a full squad in place.
Ross Gibb decided to step down last week in the hope that we could perhaps get somebody on board who could help come in with fresh contacts and ideas to save the situation. However, with the fixtures being released this weekend we have had to accept that time is against us and make the decision that is best for our players, and doing what is best by them is what has to take precedence.
We would like to say a big thank you to Ross and his team for all their hard work and commitment. We know they did everything they could to try and avoid this situation.
Finally we would like to say a big thank you to the players who have stuck by us and had such patience with the situation. Words can not express how grateful we are and we look forward to seeing you back next season for our rebuild. ❤️

So 2 existing clubs have gone into abeyance for 2022/23, with Banks O'Dee 'Juniors' being admitted.

Has the new North divisional structure been confirmed yet ?

Yeah, fixtures have been released, 14 team Premier League and the rest in championship (think it's 16).

Dufftown promoted to Premier League when Hall Russell dropped out. Lossie United and Banks of Dee joining Championship.

With Banks O'Dee having moved to pastures new who is currently best poised to be competing for this season's title?

Without much knowledge I'd go for Dyce given their Cup performances last season. With their new floodlights they might have a go at licensing, which could give extra motivation.

Was impressed by the souped up Junior's website last night, had the results up about an hour after full time.
The SJFA (both North and East) have definitely greatly improved their online presence and information.

I totally agree, new on line presence of SFJA is excellent.
