BOD were utter horseshit against NSN a few weeks back.  I imagine they've taken their foot off the gas and also can't be arsed with the 17 cup competitions they have to play every season.  Losing on Saturday means 2 less cup games for them now before the HL play off.

Def didn't throw the game, just nothing worked up front until a few mins from the end and they were really going for it.

Well no they didn't throw the game, but league champions always take their foot off the gas when the title is sewn up.  There's no way they gave a hoot about that cup game on Saturday, they'll be focusing on the playoff.

I see BoD drew at home to Banchory today. Wonder if too much giving the second string an outing and general sloppiness could kick them in arse when they face fixture heavy Fort? I'd imagine Fort will give up any hope of avoiding the play off pretty soon, and will use their remaining games as preparation for the big show.

Is that two promotion places and one relegation place between 2nd and 1st division? They expecting new members?

The tables above are from Wikipedia where someone added the first and second division tables recently - nothing has been made public regarding promotion/relegation though and the rules are not available. They'll need to deal with BOD getting promoted and clubs coming back from abeyance before deciding how next season is set up.

I see that BOD are playing Fort on the 23rd and the 30th. When will their final two league fixtures be played?

Both games are against teams still playing games next week so waiting until May shouldn't be a problem, especially the Dyce fixture as they still have 7 league games to go.

Are any other North Region Super League / Junior teams licensed or looking to get their license apart from Banks O Dee?

Midlands League - is it just Lochee at license stage - Scottish Cup next season?

North Caledonian League - Golspie only?

Just for any future play offs with bottom Highland League teams?

Ambitious signs from a couple of sides in the NCL and NRJFA, but most likely the only extra licensed teams next season will be from the Midland League, Lochee United and Tayport. They'll have to win the small matter of their league first of course!

Assuming BOD wins promotion and Fort opts for the NCL, what will the North Juniors do about the vacant Superleague spot?

I think whether Dee win or not they might go to two leagues next season.

Correct, no teams other than ourselves & Tayport are going through the licensing process at the moment. There are a number of teams in all 3 leagues who have the ambition to get licensed, but they will all need more time.

At least we'll have more money to spend next season as the ground improvements have been paid now & we'll get Scottish Cup income. That obviously won't guarantee anything as winning the league will still be tough, but it would definitely help. And if we win the league, it will help that we won't have to face Banks O'Dee in a play-off.
