Ayr look decent when they actually pass the ball about, shame they seem drilled into just shelling it so have no idea how to act when the balls in midfield.

It’s called  “Hoppyball” and believe me, it’s dreadful to watch.

Frustratingly we seemed to move to a style with more passing in a couple of the league cup group games. We've totally abandoned that for this game for whatever reason.

The passing and attacking intent lasts until the pressure is on/a few defeats happen, then Hopkin reverts to just shelling the ball forward and trying to defend the six yard box.
