Highlandmagyar Tier 3
Solksjaer sacked. If only Gerrard had hung on a bit longer. Edited November 21, 2021 by Highlandmagyar Tier 3

throbber
You speculate about it for so long but when it finally happens it still feels sad for some reason.
Mr. Alli
Yesterday, he was at the wheel. Today he's under the bus. RIP Ole.
Highlandmagyar Tier 3
The fact that Manchester United have said they will appoint an interim manager until the end of the season shows they are a shambles off and on the park.
jagfox
Sunderland have had more league winning managers than Manchester United...
David W
1 hour ago, throbber said: I feel pretty sorry for him. Firstly he never slapped the enormous price tag on himself and when Leicester knew Man Utd were interested they knew they could get a ludicrous amount for him and took Utd to the cleaners. Even if Harry didn’t want to go there he would have been forced to get the money in for him. Since his arrival he has had the price tag constantly used against him and people can’t seem to get round the fact that he’s not as good as VVD despite costing a few million more. He’s definitely the easiest target out of the Man Utd players but he was never going to be the guy who solved all their problems. Worth remembering the same summer they decided to ignore the general trend in World football and spend £55 million on a full back that can't cross the halfway line.

They haven’t done the best job of strengthening their defence have they?

Until the Glazers are gone and the club moves on from Fergies era they’ll be stuck in purgatory.

TBF the media and all EPL supporters who are over the age of 30 are having a difficult time moving on from the Fergie era as well.
mizfit
Having thought on it for 20 minutes, imagine the hilarity if it was Fergie they persuaded to come back?

The fact they are going down the 'interim coach' route shows they haven't learned a single thing from what has just happened. If the interim boss does a good job, they'll be backed into appointing him full time. Again. It's quite staggering how incompetently run that club is.
Empty It
I've got a bad feeling that Man U are going to get someone semi competent instead of the banter signing we'd all love.
