Sadly it looks like Newcastle are going to buy their way out of trouble. Would love to have seen them relegated.

Really? Newcastle underspent and spent badly (e.g. £40m on Joelinton) under Ashley.

Howe inherited most of the squad from Bruce and six are still out injured.

Only three new signings started this afternoon and Guimares made a very late appearance off the bench.

Trippier has made a huge difference. Wood has been meh and it was Burn's first start.

If Newcastle survive, it won't be due to spending megabucks on big name players.

Jarrod Bowen is a good player and that was a good finish, but Leicester's defence is horrific

Missing Castagne, Fofana and Evans. Amartey is really a midfielder and Soyuncu's form has bombed.

Vestergaard was signed as CB cover but it's obvious. that Rodgers has zero confidence in him.

They have spent their tainted blood money on players that made them better, that's about the dictionary definition of buying your way out of success. Unless you think Trippier and Burn were leaving behind better teams and sunnier climates for the chance to shop in the Metrocentre.

West Ham are learning the lesson of momentum.  Leicester were garbage for the majority of the first half but get an equalizer thanks to a stupid decision by a West Ham player just before half time and have been the better team in the second half.

Aaron Cresswell now in the book, I think he needs the hook

Every club at that level spends money on players which make them better, pointing that out in this case is irrelevant.

So Newcastle should not be allowed to spend any money on new players?

How are they different to Man City?

Do you think that Ronaldo left Juventus to shop in the Arndale centre?

Or are you just a sanctimonious hypocrite?

Did the football tourist thing at Spurs today.

Stadium is class but they were hilariously shite. Wait until you see the two Wolves goals

Just watched the goals and holy f**k that's bad defending.  There were like 5 unmarked Wolves players in the box for the first goal while the second was just a comedy of errors.

Spurs of 2022 remind me of Spurs of the 2006-2009 era with big expectations, good firepower, but continue to find cartoonish ways to drop points
