Watkins is a bit of a diddy tbh. Watkins is an average EPL striker. He did well at Brentford who replaced him with a clone in Toney. Ings has regressed at Villa and was much better at Southampton. And in goes the equaliser!

Christophe
Word is Benitez is gone and discussions tonight will centre on replacements. He can't survive this surely

Mark Connolly
All those Liverpool fans who criticised Benitez for taking the Everton job should have trusted him
Bishop Briggs
It's very rich of Jamie Redknapp (paid £ millions whilst injured) and Roy Keane (managerial failure) to criticise Rafa Benitez. Benitez inherited a dysfunctional squad of overpaid, egotistical mediocrities. Sacking him won't change that squad.
vikingTON
He didn't 'inherit' it though - he applied for the job and accepted it just last summer on the premise that he was the manager capable of either changing things or getting results with the resources given to him. Benitez has been wrongly derided in the past but he is clearly not doing his job properly in this case and has to go. Everton are a disorganised nick and nowhere near as big or relevant a club as they think, but the same could have been said of West Ham 18 months ago and they've turned things round in nauseating fashion.
jamamafegan
I’d give the job to big Dunc. The big scary b*****d has the potential to be a good manager for Everton. Did decent in his interim spell back in 2019. A win against Chelsea and draws against Man United, Leicester and Arsenal.
