What about relegation/promotion starting from next season? Has there been any official announcement regarding this? Thank you!

3 up and 3 down across the top 3 leagues.

Still to be decided what is happening at the bottom of the 3rd Division at the end of next season.

There will be a Division 4 next season, not a development league

Are you able to comment yet on whether or not all current clubs are anticipated to be in the five division set-up next season?

If the champions are promoted to the LL and Annbank do not return that leaves 73 clubs. If the Prem/D.1/D.2 and D.3 each have 16 clubs that would be 64 places whilst there are 65 clubs above Div.4 currently.

Does D.3 run with 17 clubs so that no-one is relegated to D.4 ?

Does that mean that there will be no clubs promoted from the current D.4 ?

Will there be any statement made regarding any additional or returning clubs for next season? Hoping for some "clues" after 31st March.

Any more news would be appreciated.

I should say these are from the WOSFL twitter (with some Largs numpty in the replies saying it's unfair for the league to post them)

Saw it on Facebook. Which is only noteworthy for the one comment asking where Threave Rovers would be if they are accepted.

They would go in at the bottom tier, in whatever format that is. (The clubs have still to decide on that.)

Person asking that seems to have a connection to St Cuthbert Wanderers, interesting...

Yeah, seemed like a player. Although if a St Cuthbert Wanderers player was doing the asking purely about Threave. It maybe puts some doubt on the latest rumour of both clubs to the WoSFL. I don't think they'd be enough of an optimist to think they'd be in the Lowland next year :)

Is there a deadline for the current Div 4 teams to submit their application to the "real" leagues?

As far as I know, it was about 12 months ago!

By applying for Div4 and being accepted, they have 2 seasons to upgrade facilities etc where necessary, at a suitable ground.

If they fulfill the criteria they can be accepted as full WoSFL members for next season or the one after.

I don't imagine any further "application" will be necessary. No doubt there is ongoing communication between the 8 clubs and WoSFL management regarding progress and votes on acceptance or not of those who are ready should take place at the AGM.

If I've got any of that wrong, I'm sure someone will step in and correct me.

The WoS twitter has confirmed the Premier, First, and Second Divisions for next season. Which just leaves what they're doing with the Third(/Fourth) undecided. Anyone know when the AGM is meant to be?

WoSFL AGM is 25th June at Dumbarton if my information is correct

When is WOSFL AGM? Will it be decided on definite relegation from Premier League eg 3 definitely down as a bit unfair if a team finish 4th or 5th bottom but end up going down if Caley Braves etc have a poor season or just have to get used to that every season and look at West teams in Lowland League to work out if 4th bottom stays up?

Also will we know what is happening with 3rd and 4th Division too after then?

3 down with a 4th possible if the league gains a club on net from the Lowland League. EOS Premier is the same. Dynamic relegation is a neccesity as the alternative would be a non-rigid boundry between the EOS/WOS that'd see teams moved about to balance the numbers which is never going to happen.
