Great for the club to have representation for the club in the lower leagues.

Club have announced a very decent squad for the season and a new 'B' team twitter account for all the up to date news already over 8 k followers since launch massive interest in this endeavor which will hopefully culminate in lower league football one day.

Good luck coach Tommy and all the boys involved 👍

Yes, can't wait to see the Scottish national side being fully enhanced by the likes of Leo Hjelde and Tobi Oluwayemi playing against Dalbeattie Star and Vale of Leithen.

Well done and a deserved 2-1 win for Bonnyrigg . They should have been out of sight by HT, completely dominating the half. Other than Currie's well hit strike for his goal, Rose hit the post twice and the ref bottled a clear denial of a goal scoring opportunity by only showing a yellow card.  Rose went 2-0 up early in the second half, then Celtic got the glimmer of a chance when Rose switched off at the back post from a swinging free kick and it was game on at 2-1.

Only then did Celtic start to dominate possession as Rose tired in the heat.  However Rose were able to safely see it out without too many alarms.

None of the top LL sides should fear playing the "B sides".  Those in today's B team are not the best of Celtic's youngsters at U20.  I'd expect both Celtic and Rangers best U20s to be playing on loan at a higher level than tier 5.

Celtic’s captain was on loan and impressed at Clyde at the end of last season. He’s clearly better than LL level yet he’s being held back. I certainly wouldn’t think that their best interests are the main reason of why the clubs pushed for this. Celtic in particularly signing youngsters galore from down south to play in the 5th tier for years to come? Aye right.

Am sure these boys will remember this day when making their Scotland debuts.

I wonder how many of those listed are Scottish?

C’mon The Rose 🌹🌹🌹

Tommy has to be happy with that today and hopeful of a good campaign.

Lots of positive message of support in the wider social media world which has been excellent to see for the bhoys 👍

I hope they will have a miserable season and f*ck off from the pyramid after it. Same goes for their blue mates obviously...

No, it’s the future of the Scottish national team. Have you not been paying attention?

Exactly, nothing prepares young talents better for future games against Germany, Brazil and Italy in the future than playing against Vale of Leithen now.
